In this subject I will discus the advantages and disadvantages on both cold air intake and short ram intake. This is for all those who don't have an understanding on what the difference is between these too. We will try to explain as best as possible and will compare both. If you ask which is best for you; you will have to decide by yourself after reading this article.
-Advantages:
* Gives cold air from the bottom of the car.
* May add a bit more horse power depending on the brand
-Disadvantages:
*May get water into the manifold and to engine
*May get more dirt into your manifold
*May fall off if your car is low and you hit something
Short Ram Air Intake
-Advantages:
*Get air into manifold a bit faster than cold air
*Doesn't get much dirt into the manifold and engine
*Don't have to worry about water getting into manifold and engine
-Disadvantges
*Will get hot engine temperature into the manifold and internal engine
