2nd Gen Check Engine Light codes (95-97 ONLY!!!!)



Code#:

Code 11- Intermittent loss of crankshaft and/or camshaft position sensor signals to PCM , complete loss of crankshaft position sensor  signal to PCM, or timing belt skipped one or more teeth.

Code 13- Problem with the MAP sensor circuit 

Code 14- MAP sensor voltage out of normal range

Code 15- A problem with the VSS signal. No VSS signal detected during load conditions

Code 16- No input signal from knock sensor

Code 17- Engine is cold too long. Engine coolant temperature remains below operating temperatures during initial operation. (Check Thermostat) 

Code 21- Problem with upstream O2 sensor signal circuit, sensor voltage to computer not fluctuating.

Code 22- Engine coolant temperature sensor voltage out of normal range

Code 24-  Throttle position sensor voltage high or low. Test throttle position sensor

Code 25- IAC motor circuits, A shorted condition is defected on one or more IAC motor

Code 27- One of the injector control circuit out put drivers not responding properly, Check circuits

Code 31- EVAP system fault

Code 32- An open or shorted condition detected in the EGR solenoid circuit. Possible airfuel/ratio imbalance not detected

Code 35- Open or shorted condition in the radiator fan circuits

Code 36- Pulsed secondary air injected system problem (95 manual only)

Code 37- Transaxle PARK/NEUTRAL switch failure 

Code 42- Fuel pump relay or MFI (ASD) relay circuit open or shorted

Code 43- Misfire on one or more cylinder , sparkplug, injector, cylinder compression air intake, ignition coil circuit

Code 45- Transaxle fault in transmission control moduel (Auto transmission)

Code 46- Charging system too high

Code 47- Charging system too low

Code 51- O2 sensor signal indicates lean fuel/air ratio condition during engine operation 
 
Code 52- O2 sensor indicates rich fuel/air ratio condition during engine operation

Code 53- Internal PCM failure 

Code 54- No camshaft position sensor signal. Problem with sensor or circuit

Code 62- Unsuccessful attempt to update EMR mileage in the PCM EEPROM. PCM failure

Code 63- Controller failure. EEPROM write deny, check PCM

Code 64- Catalytic converter efficiency below required level

Code 65- Power steering switch failure 

Code 66- Transmission control moduel (TCM) not sensed by PCM.
